Fall Reminders!!!!!!
1) November 1st to March 31st, Winter hours will be in effect.
Mon. - Fri. 8am - 5 pm
Saturday 10am - 3 pm
Sunday - Closed
2) All water to piers, laundry facilities and parking areas will be winterized on Nov. 2nd.
(If temperatures dictate, the water may be turned off earlier.)
3) The Pump-Out will be winterized on November 15th per Maryland DNR Regulations.
4) SECURE YOUR DOCKBOX LIDS CLOSED - THE WIND WILL REMOVE THE LID IF NOT SECURE!!!
5) Double Line your vessel today! Do NOT wait until the Dec. 1st requirement. The Fall winds have begun, don't let your vessel be damaged due to a line failure.
Extras lines are cheap insurance!
6) Remember to remove hoses/ shorepower cords, fenders, dock lines, etc. from your slip when your vessel is hauled. The Marina will not be responsible for any items remaining in or attached to a slip.
The crew will be removing ALL items from slips this winter for a thorough pier inspection and in an effort to clean-up the Marina's appearance. Please remove everything from your slip which has accumulated over the years. Store in dockbox for use next year.
( Examples: old docklines, shorepower cords, fenders, hoses, hooks, batteries, umbrellas, ash-trays, rope lights, fishing poles, crab traps, etc.)
7) Do NOT tie tarps to the boat stands when in dry storage.
8) If leaving your trailer boat here for the winter, inform the office when you have finished boating for the season, so the trailer/boat combination may be placed in a storage location.
If leaving a dinghy on the rack for the winter. TIE it down.
9) Trailers and Dinghies / Pick-up your 2010 stickers prior to bringing the boat back next year. If it is remaining here for the winter, come to the office prior to Feb. 15th for your 2010 sticker.
10) EVERY vessel on the property must be registered with the office and have proper insurance.
Any vessel entering the property must have prior written authorization from the office.
11) Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm. October 1st - Jan. 15th
Do NOT park within 100 feet of the Travel Lift area.
This area is designated for pressure washing. When windy, pressure wash particulate will travel a great distance. The marina accepts no responsibility for your vehicle at any time. Please pay attention to prevailing wind direction when parking.
12) Payment for haul-out is due in full 7 days prior to scheduled haul-out.
13) ALL members who did not own stands prior to April 2007, must rent stands at a cost of $150.00.
14) You will be called when your vessel has been hauled and blocked. Please check your vessel to ensure it has been blocked to your satisfaction. Check your drain plugs and be certain your bilges are free of water.
15) You may be contacted by the office requesting permission to use your electric for ice eaters. If you have been contacted and there are charges for electric usage above the monthly minimum charge, please pay the bill and then submit to the marina office for a credit. Please submit your bills promptly to the office after you pay them
