Launch Procedures
Prior to Launch
- Visit website and submit LAUNCH REQUEST FORM electronically
- Charge batteries
- Connect all hoses to thru-hull fittings ( double clamp all hoses below water-line )
- Close all thru-hull fittings
- Ensure plug is present – note on form where located
- Ensure that the vessel is ready on Monday of the week scheduled to launch. If detailer, mechanic, canvas maker and/or rigger is working on the vessel, make sure they are aware of the schedule and have the vessel ready for launch on MONDAY of the week scheduled. If not ready Monday, the vessel will be moved to the bottom of the list and will NOT displace a vessel which is ready and scheduled for the following week.
- Ensure that you hire only contractors who carry the correct insurance. Please have them fax the office the proper documentation regarding their coverage prior to their arrival
- If your vessel has to be hauled after launch due to excessive leaking and/or other issues, you will be charged accordingly. Please make sure your vessel is ready to launch.
- Have dock lines out and labeled where to place them.
- Be prepared to come to Marina when called to check on your vessel after launch
When all work is complete and vessel is ready in all aspects, submit LAUNCH AUTHORIZATION FORM via website or fax. You will not be launched until this form is received and your account is paid in full. SUBMIT on the website. Click FORMS then LAUNCH AUTHORIZATION.
