Trailer/Dinghy Registration Form
Dear Bowleys Members:
If you have a trailer or dinghy within the marina boundaries, please review the below items. Complete this form and submit it to the office.
TRAILER BOAT OWNERS:
ALL trailers will be issued a sticker. Please call or visit the office prior to bringing the trailer on-site. A dry-sail contract will be completed and a sticker will be issued. All trailers entering the property must have stickers, even if not stored on the property.
The fee structure has changed this year. All trailer boats/jetskis will be measured to determine the LOA. The charges for trailer usage will be charged on a per foot basis using the LOA measurement. The Summer season will be May 1st to Sept. 30th with a fee of $15/ft/season. The Winter trailer storage season will be Oct. 1st to April 30th with a fee of $15/ft/season.
Any empty trailer which is being stored for the summer season will be charged a flat rate of $150. If the trailer is in "storage," it will not be accessible between May 1st and Sept. 30th. If you need to access a trailer in "storage," please give the office one week notice.
DINGHY OWNERS
ALL dinghies within the Marina boundaries must be registered with the office and will be issued a sticker. All dinghies (being stored on small-craft rack) will be issued a sticker and an annual fee of $75.00 will be assessed. Please advise the office immediately if you intend to rent a dinghy rack. Lowering the fee to $75 will hopefully make it possible for more members to take advantage of the rack. All dinghy stickers are to be paid by March 15th.
There have been issues with unclaimed dinghies and dinghies being abandoned when damaged. This is the reason that all dinghies will be registered and have a sticker for identification purposes. Only dinghies stored in the rack will be charged the $75 fee.
Some of you may not be aware that the marina provides a very nice dinghy cart to assist in moving the dinghies to the ramp.
Check applicable option(s) below, fill in the vessel's LOA (if applicable) and submit to the office. You will be mailed an invoice, dry-sail agreement and a sticker.
Please review below excerpt from Rule 25 regarding Bowleys Marina's LOA definition.
25. BOAT LENGTH RESTRICTIONS
"... "Length overall" as used in this Rule and in Paragraph 1 of the Member's Slip Agreement shall be defined as the total length of the vessel as measured from the farthest projection forward to the farthest projection aft, including, but not limited to, the boat's hull, any bow pulpit, swim platform, anchor davits, bowsprit, outdrives, outboards, etc., and any other extensions or items attached thereto. ..."
